The Cairns Casino

For bars, restaurants and entertainment all in one – check out The Cairns Casino, officially known as the Reef Hotel Casino Cairns which is highly regarded as being Australia's finest boutique casino, and is the only casino in Far North Queensland.

Ian recommends checking out the casino on a rainy day! Treat yourself to one of the massive buffet lunches which costs only $20 for all you can eat including three courses and some amazing desserts.

The casino occupies a prime location in the Cairns city, and it casts an interesting shape in the Cairns city skyline with a glass dome as its rooftop.

The Casino is open Sunday to Thursday - 10am to 3am / Friday and Saturday - 10am to 5am for anyone over 18 years of age and is located on Wharf Street (at the end of the Cairns Esplanade next to the ferry terminal).  If gambling is not your thing, there’s many inviting bars and restaurants to choose from or the Velvet nightclub and numerous other live entertainment and bands. It’s a great thing to do which is a bit different to your usual night out.
