Fashion boutique, We're and and local dance label Open Records are joining forces to bring Cairns a new series of monthly events called Sunday Best.

The stylish surrounds of Society Bar and Restaurant will come alive on September 20 for a sophisticated afternoon of sun, music, food and fashion.
 

With a focus on bringing you the freshest sounds that Australia has to offer in a different atmosphere from a crowded nightclub, the monthly event will see a top-level touring DJ or artist take the stage alongside the finest spectrum of Cairns’ electronic music talent.
 

This month’s visiting artist is Melbourne underground dance legend Gavin Martin, known as one of the Australian scene's longest standing and most celebrated DJ talents.
 

Lately he has turned his focus to production, with releases on many of the world's top dance imprints including Baroque, Vapour, System, Kult, Bus, Open and more.
 

Sunday Best, featuring Gavin Martin, Suspekt, Drewan, The Baron and aDusk is at Society Bar and Restaurant on September 20, 3pm-late. Entry is $10, with all tickets scoring 10 per cent off fashion at We’re. Presale tickets are in store now. The first 50 punters will receive a gift bag on arrival.
